Discover Your Creative Journey with Us
Mindful and sustainable creative workshops for every generation, celebrating the beauty of nature and the transformative power of the seasons.

Hi there!
I’m Heather Cassidy, an Art & Craft Facilitator based in Millisle, Northern Ireland. My journey into creativity began 25 years ago with Art & Design, but life took me in different directions as I focused on raising a family and working as a Special Needs Classroom Assistant and tutor. Five years ago, I rediscovered the calming power of creativity through card making, which grew into a passion for printmaking, embroidery, and art as a daily mindfulness practice.

As a nature lover, I began to connect the changing seasons with my creative process, which led me to explore sustainable art practices. This, combined with my experience home educating my son, showed me how art and craft could nurture both well-being and learning in a mindful, non-threatening way.

At Wild and Crafted, I offer educational art and craft workshops that are inspired by nature and the seasons. My focus is on sustainability, mindfulness, and helping others connect with the earth through creative expression. Whether through seasonal projects, nature art for children, or exploring the Celtic Wheel of the Year, my workshops are designed to promote well-being, creativity, and a deeper respect for our planet.

I work with families, community groups, charities and businesses to provide fun workshops for special ocassions. I also work with community groups, providing more long term learning opportunities. Although I run regular classes at Boom Studios in Bangor, I have also worked with Sostrene Greene, the Simon Community and the King's Trust.
